Achievement Week 2026: Ten Days of Brotherhood and Service

Why Achievement Week Matters

Achievement Week is one of the oldest traditions of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. It traces back to the fraternity's 1920 Grand Conclave in Nashville, where Brother Dr. Carter G. Woodson, the historian known as the Father of Black History, urged Omega men to lift up the study of Black life and history. That same spirit helped lay the foundation for what the nation now celebrates as Black History Month.

More than a century later, chapters around the world still set aside this week to honor achievement in their communities, recognize outstanding citizens and Brothers, and serve the people around them. The week closes on November 17, the day Omega Psi Phi was founded at Howard University in 1911, with our Founders Fellowship.

The Austin Coalition Ques invite all of Central Texas to Achievement Week, November 8 through 17, 2026. The Austin Ques of the Epsilon Iota Chapter and the Round Rock Ques of the Omicron Nu Nu Chapter are joining forces for ten days of worship, scholarship, service, and fellowship across Austin, Round Rock, and Georgetown.
Whether you are a Brother, a family member, a friend of Omega, or a neighbor who wants to give back, there is a place for you this week. Mark your calendar and come out to as many events as you can.

The Schedule: Eight events over ten days, opening in worship and closing in fellowship on Founders Day.

Times and rooms marked "to be announced" will be updated here as soon as they are confirmed. Follow the Austin Ques on social media for the latest details.

Achievement Week is about showing up for each other and for our community. Bring your family, bring a friend, and invite someone who has never been to an Omega event before. If you can only make one date, consider the Central Texas Food Bank service day on November 11, where every pair of hands makes a difference.
We look forward to celebrating with you. Friendship is Essential to the Soul.
