Join Epsilon Iota's 2026 Family Eldercare Summer Fan Drive
This summer, the Epsilon Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. is once again answering the call to serve our community. In partnership with H-E-B, the chapter will donate 300 fans to support seniors served by Family Eldercare, helping them stay safe and cool during the Texas summer. The chapter has a long history of serving the Austin community through programs focused on education, mentorship, scholarships, and community outreach.
On Friday, July 10, 2026, brothers will gather at 9:30 a.m. to load fans at the H-E-B located at 6607 S. I-35 Frontage Road before departing at 10:00 a.m. in a caravan to Roger Beasley Mazda South, where the fans will be delivered to Family Eldercare for distribution.
This annual initiative is more than a donation drive—it's an opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of vulnerable seniors across Central Texas. Every fan represents comfort, safety, and the spirit of service that defines Omega Psi Phi.
Brothers bring their vehicles, energy, and enthusiasm as we continue this meaningful tradition of giving back. Together, we help our neighbors beat the heat and demonstrate that friendship is essential to the soul.
2026 Kicks for Kids Sneaker Ball
The 3rd Annual Kicks for Kids Sneaker Ball returns on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 8:00 PM, hosted at the Courtyard by Marriott in Pflugerville, Texas.
1st Inaugural Family Field Day
Family Field Day is a free community event dedicated to bringing Austin families together through fitness, health, and wellness. From fun activities for kids to resources for the whole family, it's a high-energy celebration of everything that makes a healthy community thrive.
41st Ronald E. McNair Golf Tournament
Since 1989, the Epsilon Iota Foundation has awarded over $72,000 in scholarships to deserving high school students across Greater Austin. Since 2004, we have also contributed $32,000 to the Dr. Ronald E. McNair Endowment at Huston-Tillotson University, supporting first-generation and STEM-focused scholars.

Talent Hunt is an internationally mandated program of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Talent Hunt provides exposure, encouragement, and financial assistance to talented high school students in grades 9 through 12.
International High School Essay Contest
The Contest is open to all college-bound, high school seniors who submit an essay application
through a Chapter of the Fraternity.
The essay must be original and neither previously published nor secured by copyright. The essay
must be between 700 and 750 words in length.

Our annual golf tournament is one of our chapter's largest scholarship largest fundraisers.
